The end of the weekly blog

Hello everyone! Today I have some sad news. After a long period of debilitation I’ve decided that I’ll no longer be putting out weekly blog posts. The amount of time that it takes to create something that’s good enough to warrant anyone’s attention is too much for me at this current point in my life. I’ve been focusing on writing for long term projects recently and the blog has increasingly been pushed to the side. I’d usually just throw something together last minute whenever Wednesday came around just for the sake of putting something out. I’m not ending the blog, I still have a lot that I want to write about when it comes to photography and life, I just want to put more time into making something that I can be proud of. The point is to make something good, not to make something based upon a weekly schedule just to please an algorithm so people will see my content in their timeline. I’m glad that I did my best to stick to the weekly schedule for over a year, I needed that kind of structure to force myself to write. But right now my mind is set on other projects and I don’t want to put out work that’s half assed.

This weekly blog has been one of the most enjoyable things that I’ve made. If it wasn’t for the weekly blog then I wouldn’t have started writing, and I wouldn’t of written an article for street hunters. Thank you all for taking the time out to read my blog posts. I truly appreciate every comment that you made, and every minute of your time that you spent listening to me is greatly appreciated. If you’re interested in going back and reading some of the older blog posts you can see the full list here. Once again thank you for being a part of this project with me and thank you for being awesome.
