A series taken over the past few years, but only realized in the past few days. A mixture of portraiture, events, and photos of random gatherings with friends. To be young is like nothing else in life. To have a newly awakened awareness of the world, and the power to strive forward with our goals is something unique to being young. Some of us want to be musicians, models, or artists (like myself). But I think most of all we want our voices to be heard. To be respected and placed on an equal footing as other adults is, I think, the reason why we work so hard. Some of us want to make it big, and some of us just want to live our daily lives with enough stability to go into the future without worry.
The reason I photograph is to remember. And it’s been thoroughly enjoyable sharing all of these experiences with everyone shown here. Now enough with the sentimental crap. Let’s go out and make some more memories.
