CB Nuit 2018

I know I haven’t posted on the blog in awhile, I’ve been busy with so many projects. One of those projects was working on the 2018 CB Nuit committee. Last year I was a participant in Nuit 150+, but this year I decided to do something different because I felt as though working with the arts coordinators will help me in my future endeavors. The whole experience was tons of fun and lots of effort. I always underestimate how much work goes into something until it actually comes. But I digress, this is a photo blog, so rather than ramble on I should just show the photos.

There was also a community arts project within the festival as well, which is what I spent most of my time working on while on the committee. We contacted schools and community groups from all across the Corner Brook area and asked if they wanted to make small flags from recycled materials, which were then hung up from light post to light post. The project was a huge success and we ended up getting close to 200 of flags from the community. Participants could also show up and make their own flag on the spot if they wished. I photographed the creation of the long string of flags.
