Hello everyone.
Last month I was lucky enough to go on a family road trip to Milford House, a rental cabin service in rural Nova Scotia. It was one of the best “weekendcations” I’ve had in recent memory. We rented canoes, drank coffee while watching the lake, and just enjoyed each other’s company. I think rural Nova Scotia is one of the best parts of our province. This trip reminded me how much there is to see here in Canada.
I also brought along my friend Abdullah. He came to Canada for university, but since all the schools are closed right now due to covid I invited him along. The reason I’m mentioning this is because I had a thought about travel; I think all of us love the idea of going to exotic places and seeing all of the exotic tourist attractions, but I think it’s even more rewarding to show other people your own part of the world. Let others come to you and you be the educator. Showing Abdullah my home province was one of the most rewarding parts of the trip. I don’t need to travel to Africa or Asia. I think the reward of sharing fulfilling life experiences with others is what we’re really searching for.
Thank you for your time.
